Featured Trail: Nichols Creek
Take a rip down this finished new trail that features a 1,800 ft descent over 4.3 miles of lodge pole forest. Trail surface ranges from old two track, dirt single track, some packed rock switch backs, and a couple short, technical sections. Bring some friends and get a shuttle going or go solo and climb up Ski Run Road back to your car.
Difficulty: Intermediate -steeper grade, tight swithbacks
Getting there: Turn right/west off Hwy 212 on the south edge of Red Lodge onto West Fork Road. Proceed to the lower parking lot of Red Lodge Mountain. Trail entrance is to the left of the stairs, up the access road on the left.
Nearby Trails: Willow Creek Trail, Palisades Trail, and Silver Run Trails.
